RIDES - As we are all keen riders ourselves we are out riding as often as possible and everyone is welcome to join us anytime. Basics are that everyone rides at their own risk and must wear a helmet. Worth taking your own spares and tools if you need to as well, at least a pump, spare tube and puncture repair kit. Evening rides through autumn and winter will obviosuly require lights, enough to be able to ride off-road with.
Regular informal rides are: Every Sunday - 9.15am meeting at Eastbourne Youth Hostel (or bench 100yds down the road) - Usually a 3 hour medium paced mountain bike ride across the local Downs and Friston Forest
Every Tuseday - 7pm meeting at the bus Stop across the road from the Tally Ho pub on Church street in Old Town. Usually approx a 2 hour ride out and back across the Downs usually ending in a Pub visit.
All club and ride details are updated on our facebook page and twitter so please check this out for latest info. Also worth checking out the SussexMuddyArse club. This is a very informal sussex wide mountain bike club with regular rides for all levels. A good source for hooking up with local riders through their chat forum too. |
