FROG BIKES
We are a small British company dedicated to making cycling fun for children. We believe that the lighter the bike, the easier it is for children to learn to ride, and to enjoy it more as they progress. Many children's bikes on the market weigh nearly as much as the child!
So we set about re-designing the kids' bike, sourcing a light but strong aluminium frame, and hand-picking components that offer a high performance without compromising the weight.
The founders, Jerry and Shelley, are a couple who have 2 small children of their own – both keen cyclists. So they know something about what motivates children to get on their bikes! Since the first prototype arrived, the bikes have always been robustly tested by the children and all their friends.
Our environment is an important factor in all the decisions we make as a business, from recycled packaging to the green electricity we use in the office. We have plans to buy-back old Frog bikes, re-condition them and send them to developing countries – watch this space. Anything to keep old bikes out of land-fill!
We sell bikes directly to customers through this site, and to independent bike retailers. Ask about Frog Bikes in your local bike store.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN
We build bikes for people who love to ride. It's the core of what we do. We know that there are a million different types of riders out there. People who love long, epic rides; people who love sessioning the jump park; people who love cross-country racing, and those who just love it all. The combinations are endless, and so are the possibilities.
As a bike company, we've made it our mission to create a high-grade quiver of bikes that meets the needs of the myriad of off-road cyclists out there. To do this we pay particular attention to innovation, quality, and detail. Bikes for people who love to ride designed and built by people who love to ride. That's the secret: Letting the passion of riding create beautiful, strong, high performance bikes.
When you get on a Rocky Mountain and take it for a spin you'll realize we practice what we preach. Building bikes for all types of riders which meet our standards is why we've developed four independent, purpose-built full suspension systems. It's why our R&D facility is located right beside our factory. It's why we're not a mass production operation. We hand build our bicycles and all of our wheels. We also invest heavily in quality control and high construction standards. It's why we offer everything from steel hardtails to 9-inch suspension downhill rigs. And, it's why we use name brand quality tubing and name brand components to build our bikes.
Even though we're bigger than we were when we started 27 years ago, we still employ the same practices, the same hands on approach we did then. It's all still right here in Vancouver, British Columbia, and because of that, subject to the constant scrutiny of all our employees. The noises from our factory can be heard right in our head offices.
We are a semi-custom bike manufacturer. We're not huge and were not trying to be. We're not pumping out hundreds of thousands of bikes a year. It's because of this we can take our time to ensure that every Rocky Mountain is the best it can be. So, if you want a quality ride from the tubing right through to the wheels, this is where you belong. Bikes built for riders, by riders, in a place where the riding rules. |

TRANSITION BIKES
Our philosophy is simple, Rider Owned for Life. It is not a slick marketing slogan but something that defines who we are as a company. Connecting with our dealers and customers from a rider standpoint is our number one concern. Through outstanding and responsive customer service, and unique niche product design, we create and build relationships with our customers that are important to everyday riders and forgotten by larger companies.
When you buy a Transition product you can be assured it has been tested in real world conditions by the same people that design them. We don't believe in using Catalog designs; everything is designed in house by us.
Our goal is not to become a huge corporate brand but rather a company the average rider can believe in. Our customers are our family and we absolutely love seeing them progress their riding to new levels right beside us.
