Kenda Nevegal 2 Pro

Over a decade after its original release, the Nevegal gets a complete makeover that leaves no aspect of the tire unchanged. The tread pattern was updated for less rolling resistance and comes with a dual tread compound. The casing benefits from the latest of material technology featuring the Advanced Trail Casing optimized for trail riding or EMC casing for e-mtb use.

Superior flat resistance – The new ATC casing uses Kenda’s proprietary lightweight material K-Armor to increase puncture resistance by 174% over traditional aramid breakers.
Responsive ride - Dual tread rubber balances wear and grip, letting the knobs do the work of control and braking on the ground.
Easy going – The new design and material offers 50% less rolling resistance than the original Nevegal.
Tubeless ready – Saves weight and provides a better rolling performance and more controlled handling. Riding tubeless also reduces the chance of flats.

AEC (AEC)
DEVELOPED FOR THE RIGORS OF ENDURO The new Advanced Enduro Casing (AEC) fills the gap between the burly Advanced Gravity Casing (AGC) and the weight-optimized Advanced Trail Casing (ATC). Using the same 3-piece Aramid inserts as the AGC casing, AEC omits the apex at the bead: for the same high level of puncture and cut resistance but without the added weight. A dual layer compound provides the same reliable grip found on the AGC casing

AGC (AGC)
THE MOST ADVANCED GRAVITY SOLUTION The Advanced Gravity Casing (AGC) is Kenda‘s latest innovation for gravity orientated riders. Utilizing strips of Kenda Vector Shield (KVS), a lightweight woven aramid material, positioned under the tread area and along the sidewalls to protect the tire from cuts and punctures. The KVS material offers nearly three times more cut resistance than standard protective materials. A 20 mm apex along the bead prevents pinch flats and burping. Our lightest and strongest gravity casing up to date.

RSR DUAL LAYER (RSR)
Kenda developed a this compound for a new generation of gravity tires - an evolution of the existing Race Stick-E Rubber (RSR) compound. Building on the impressive original, the new RSR compound is a dual layer tread rubber, with the soft RSR compound on top and the stiff SRC on bottom. This new dual layer compound offers better performance because the stiff bottom SRC layer serves as the hard foundation for the softer RSR layer to push against. The result is a compound that provides better control and lasts longer than previous versions.

EN-DTC (EN-DTC)
Designed around the rigors of enduro racing. Featuring a lower rolling resistance value than previous dual tread compounds, tires with EN-DTC show less wear than other similar tires. With shore A values lower than the original DTC, the EN-DTC provides a more responsive ride, letting the knobs do the work of control and braking on the ground.

ATC (ATC)
THE LIGHTER WAY Tire construction optimized for aggressive cross country or trail riding, the Advanced Trail Casing (ATC) is lighter and more supple than either of Kenda's gravity solutions. Using sheets of Kenda's SCT fabric across the tire sidewalls and a sub-tread belt of K-Armor under the tread blocks. The K-Armor fabric has a tighter weave, resulting in the use of less rubber during the construction process, yielding a lighter tire and a casing that is supple enough to allow the knobs to flex and form under load, yet still protects from pinch flats, punctures and cuts.
