The Hope Union RC (Race Clip) Pedals are the featherweight contenders of the Union family, meticulously designed for Cross-Country (XC) racing, Cyclo-Cross, and Gravel riding where every gram matters. They represent the pinnacle of Hope's engineering, balancing strength, performance, and minimal weight.

The core difference is the commitment to low weight: the small, minimal pedal body is CNC-machined from 2014-T6 aluminium billet, surrounding a Titanium axle as standard. This combination delivers a claimed weight of just 324g per pair, making them highly competitive in the XC race category.

Despite the low weight, the RC model retains Hope's renowned durability. The axle spins on three sealed cartridge bearings and an IGUS bush, ensuring silky-smooth, long-term performance that is fully serviceable—a hallmark of UK-made Hope components.

The dual-sided, stainless steel clip mechanism provides the same secure hold and consistent release as the larger models. With two proprietary cleat options provided (4-degree or 5-degree float), you can fine-tune the feel and release effort to suit your preference for high-speed engagement and quick unclipping.
