Industry Nine Solix XC v2 System Wheelset
The Solix XC v2 is engineered for riders who want the speed and technical precision of a race wheel without the carbon price tag. It utilizes the Solix M system chassis, which features a lightweight, scalloped hub shell and 24 one-piece aluminium spokes. This specific configuration is tuned for maximum "snap" during out-of-the-saddle sprints and high-cadence climbing.
Efficiency and Weight
The "v2" designation represents the transition to the Solix platform, which is significantly more efficient than the previous Hydra or Torch generations. By using a 5-pawl phased system, I9 has reduced mechanical drag by 60%, ensuring that every watt you put into the pedals is converted into forward momentum. At 1425g, it is one of the few aluminium wheelsets on the market that can genuinely compete with mid-tier carbon options on the scale.

Customsiation through Industry Nine's Anolab:
Because this is a System wheel, you have access to the full Ano Lab suite. Black hub and spokes is the base price default, adding colours incurs upgrade costs. Simply go to the Anolab here and build your preferred wheelset. Add it to theIndustry Nine cart and it will tell you what Level of customisation it is (level1,2 or 3 - see below).

System Wheels have 3 levels of customisation:
Level 1 - Up to 8 spokes of a different colour
Level 2 - Any colour hub (instead of standard black) and as many matching spokes as you like (i.e any mix of black and the colour) that matches the hubshell
Level 3 - Any mix of colour hub and spokes you like all the way up to rainbow pattern!
Our Wheelbuilders opinion:
The Solix XC v2 is for the rider who prioritizes pedalling efficiency and weight above all else but prefers the impact "forgiveness" of an alloy rim. While the carbon Whisp is slightly more compliant vertically, the XC v2's aluminium rim provides a very direct, lively feel that many racers prefer for short-track (XCC) or punchy, technical climbs where every second counts.
