The 2025 Prime is built around the Xtralite 6061 Full Butted Alloy frame. The standout feature is Mondraker’s Forward Geometry, which utilizes a significantly longer reach paired with a tiny 30mm stem. This setup places the front wheel further forward, making the bike virtually impossible to "end-over" on steep technical descents while maintaining incredible climbing traction.

The 2025 Mondraker Prime remains the benchmark for "Forward Geometry" in the electric hardtail market. While the 2026 models have begun to transition to the Gen 5 motor, the 2025 Prime uses the rock-solid Bosch Performance Line CX Smart System (Gen 4), pairing it with Mondraker's signature long-reach, short-stem handling philosophy.

It is designed for riders who want the efficiency of a hardtail but the confidence and stability of a modern enduro bike when the trail gets steep.

The Dropper Upgrade: The standard Prime ships with a rigid seatpost. Given the aggressive geometry of this frame, a dropper post (like the Onoff Pija) is the single best upgrade you can make, as it allows you to truly take advantage of the bike's descending capabilities.
Tyre Pressure: With high-volume 2.6" tyres, small changes in pressure make a huge difference. For the typical UK "mixed" terrain, starting around 20-22psi (if tubeless) will provide a great balance of comfort and rolling speed.
