Nobl TR38 Carbon Rim

The Nobl TR38 is engineered for maximum impact resistance. Using a unique resin system and a "raw" moulding process, Nobl has created a rim that isn't just strong, but also incredibly resistant to the scratches and stone chips common in gravity riding. With its 31mm internal width, it provides the perfect support for high-volume tyres ($2.3 ext{"}$ to $2.8 ext{"}$), preventing tyre roll even at lower pressures.

Built for the "Rowdy"

Now in its 7th generation, the TR38 features thickened sidewalls and a reinforced 3.5mm oversized lip. This extra material at the bead hook is what allows the TR38 to survive "square-edge" hits that would crack lighter XC or trail rims. Despite its burly nature, the shallow 25mm depth ensures the wheel remains vertically compliant, tracking through rock gardens rather than bouncing off them.

Legacy Series rims rims come with Nobl's standard 2.5-year warranty and 5-year crash replacement policy.

Performance Insight: Why TR38 over the TR37?

While the TR37 is lighter and "zippier" for all-mountain riding, the TR38 is the rim you choose if you use a uplift at the bike park or ride a full-power E-bike. The TR38’s thicker sidewalls and increased carbon volume at the bead make it significantly better at handling the "clunk" of a bottomed-out tyre on a sharp rock.

Impact-Ready Resin: A specialized composite blend that reduces brittleness, making it Nobl's most resilient rim for E-bike and DH use.
Hookless Design: Features a lower, more rounded bead profile to improve impact protection and significantly reduce the risk of pinch flats.
Asymmetric Profile: A 2mm offset allows for more even spoke tension between the drive and non-drive sides, resulting in a stiffer, longer-lasting build.
Raw Carbon Finish: The rims come out of the mould with a finished surface, meaning no paint or clear coat to chip or peel over time.
No Weight Limit: Such is the confidence in the TR38 construction that it carries no rider weight limit, making it the go-to for plus-sized riders and heavy E-MTBs
