The Pike Ultimate is the definitive "all-rounder." It is designed for riders who want a fork that is "lightweight on the scales but heavy on the attitude." For 2026, the headline news is the Charger 3.1 damper, which features a redesigned internal fluid circuit. With 68% more oil flow in the "open" Low Speed Compression (LSC) setting, it provides a noticeably plusher ride on small-bump chatter without sacrificing the mid-stroke support the Pike is famous for.

The "Golden" Touch: ButterCups

Vibration-killing ButterCups are integrated into the bottom of both the air spring and the damper. These small rubber pucks block up to 20% of high-frequency "trail chatter" before it ever reaches your hands, significantly reducing arm pump on long, technical descents.

The RockShox Pike Ultimate has been refined for 2026 with the introduction of the Charger 3.1 RC2 damper. While the 35mm chassis remains the benchmark for "Downcountry" and Trail riding, the new damper internals offer a significantly broader adjustment range, specifically addressing rider feedback for a more "open" feel in the initial stroke while maintaining high-speed support.
