The Scott Spark 950 is the ultimate representation of the modern "down-country" or short-travel trail bike, blending Cross-Country (XC) efficiency with genuine Trail capability. It shares the same ground-breaking Integrated Suspension Technology as its high-end siblings, delivering a clean look and exceptional performance in an aluminium package.
The 2025 Scott Spark 950 is the versatile mountain bike that blurs the line between a race-ready XC machine and a playful trail companion. Built around the lightweight Spark Alloy SL 6011 frame, it incorporates the visually striking Integrated Suspension Technology, which conceals the RockShox Deluxe Select rear shock inside the frame, protecting it from mud and grit while maintaining a superb centre of gravity.
The true genius of the Spark platform is the SCOTT TwinLoc 2 Technology. This proprietary bar-mounted remote controls the RockShox Pike RL3 Air fork (130mm) and the rear shock simultaneously, allowing the rider to instantly transition between three core suspension modes without taking their hands off the grips:
Descend (120mm): Full travel and plush damping for tackling descents.
Traction Control (80mm / Firmer): Reduces rear travel and firms up damping for an efficient, grip-focused climbing platform.
Lockout (0mm): Near-rigid suspension for road connections or smooth climbing efforts.
Outfitted with a smooth SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed rear derailleur and reliable Shimano MT501 disc brakes, the Spark 950 is built to perform out of the box. Its modern geometry features a Flex Pivot on the chainstay, eliminating a pivot point and reducing maintenance. An Adjustable Head Angle to fine-tune the handling for either a steeper, racier feel or a slacker, more confident descending stance.
