Unlike old-school cross-country frames that rely on firm shock lockouts to feel fast, Unno has designed the Horn with a highly efficient 100% anti-squat value at sag. This means the frame naturally resists bobbing under pedalling forces even when the shock is run wide open.
The suspension layout features a firm initial leverage ratio to keep the bike sitting high and supportive during hard, out-of-the-saddle climbing efforts. As you push deeper into its 110mm of travel, the suspension curve smoothly ramps up toward the end of the stroke. This prevents the harsh, abrupt bottom-outs common on lightweight flex-stay frames when casing jumps or landing heavy drops on technical modern race tracks.
