We Are One Whisp Carbon Rim

The We Are One Whisp is specifically engineered to bridge the gap between gravel agility and XC strength. Utilising the Convergence sinuous profile, the rim features a "curvy" nipple bed that aligns each spoke perfectly with the hub flange. This reduces stress on the spokes and nipples, leading to a more durable wheel build that requires less frequent truing.

Ultralight Without Compromise

At just 380g, the Whisp is one of the lightest rims in its class. However, unlike many weight-weenie rims that feel "chattery" or harsh, the Whisp uses a proprietary laminate and a shallow 21mm depth to provide vertical compliance. This dampens trail buzz and improves traction, allowing you to stay fresher for longer on marathon XC races or multi-day gravel adventures.

The We Are One Composites Whisp is the flagship cross-country and gravel rim from the Kamloops-based manufacturer, designed for riders who seek a "jackrabbit" feel—ultralight responsiveness combined with the legendary impact resistance that We Are One is renowned for.

Because the Whisp is a 28h-only rim, it is best paired with a high-quality lightweight hub like the Industry Nine Solix or DT Swiss 180/240. For the ultimate "dream build," using Sapim CX-Ray bladed spokes will complement the rim's aerodynamic profile while keeping the total wheelset weight around 1,350g, or go full lightweight and add Berd polylight XC spokes!
