The sturdy, integrated Chris King Dropset 4 42/42 Headset Headset is built for dependable performance on all sorts of terrain, whether road, MTB or gravel. Made from aluminium, it incorporates Chris King's patented GripLock technology, so you can be sure that, regardless of bumps, sudden stops, spills or skids, the steel bearings will stay put and your headset will remain freely adjustable. It's compatible with Santa Cruz, Yeti, Alchemy, Santa Cruz Stigmata (without baseplate), Ibis Hakka MX and more.

Chris King is renowned for the quality of its bearings, which are machined simultaneously with the same tools to ensure the inner and outer races match perfectly, and burnish with age so that they get faster the longer you ride with them.

That could be a long time, as they're built to last from raw materials sourced in local mills, using environmentally sound manufacturing processes and vigorous quality control. They are also fully serviceable, and Chris King's Lifetime Warranty means that, if any bearings or other part becomes damaged and hinders the function of your headset, the company will repair it free of charge.

You can also choose from a range of anodised finishes, so that you can match your headset to your Chris King hubs or bottom brackets and choose a more subtle, Sotto Voce option if you're not big on bold logos
