Crankbrothers Synthesis Enduro Alloy Rim - Tuned Front and Rear Specific

The Crankbrothers Synthesis Enduro Alloy Rim brings the revolutionary Tuned Wheel System concept to a durable, high-value aluminium package, available separately for custom wheel builds.

The design acknowledges that the front and rear wheels perform fundamentally different jobs on the trail, and tunes each rim accordingly to enhance performance, control, and durability.

The Front Rim (Compliant): The front rim is engineered for compliance, maximising grip and steering control. It features a wider 30mm internal width (IW) to support the tyre better, increasing air volume and contact patch, and rounding the tyre profile for enhanced turning performance. The rim is designed to work with a lower spoke count (28H) and lower tension to improve comfort and control in the turns.

The Rear Rim (Stiff): The rear rim is tuned for stiffness and durability to withstand peak loads, hard landings, and impacts. It uses a slightly narrower 28.5mm internal width (IW), which provides better rolling resistance and sharpens the tyre edge for improved drive-train grip. It is designed to pair with a higher spoke count (32H) and higher tension for optimal stability and tracking at speed.

Both rims are constructed from premium, shot-peened Aluminium Alloy for significantly higher tensile strength and resistance to cracks and deformation than standard alloys.

The rims feature a welded joint for superior strength and are fully Tubeless Ready.
