The Hope Direct Mount Stem is the ultimate component for Downhill and Freeride riders using triple-clamp suspension forks. Designed to mount directly to the top crown, this stem eliminates a potential flex point and keeps the front end of your bike as low and stiff as possible for maximum control on steep, technical descents.

Each unit is CNC-machined from a solid billet of high-strength 2014-T6 aluminium at Hope's factory in Barnoldswick, UK—this commitment to in-house manufacturing guarantees superior quality, precision, and the renowned Hope finish.

This 31.8mm version maintains compatibility with the most common oversized downhill and mountain bike handlebars. It features an extra-wide 67mm clamping width to hold modern, wide handlebars securely, and a slight 18mm rise at 40mm to fine-tune your bar height. It's the essential upgrade for any serious DH rig demanding precision steering.
