The Ibis Ripley V5 is the 2026 evolution of the definitive short-travel trail bike. For the V5, Ibis has increased the travel to 130mm rear / 140mm front, refined the geometry to be longer and slacker, and introduced the STOW internal frame storage system.

The SRAM X0 Eagle Transmission (T-Type) spec is the "pro-level" build, offering the perfect balance of durability and wireless precision, specifically designed to shift under maximum load.

The Ripley V5 remains a "climber's trail bike" but gains significant descending confidence with a 64.9-degree head angle. The X0 Transmission build utilizes the hangerless interface for a bombproof drivetrain, paired with top-tier Fox Factory suspension featuring the new Grip X damper for precise high and low-speed compression tuning.

Performance & Innovation

DW-Link Efficiency: The 130mm of rear travel is controlled by the latest DW-Link kinematic, providing a platform that is nearly immune to pedal bob, making it feel more like a cross-country bike on the climbs and an enduro bike on the descents.
STOW Internal Storage: The downtube features a high-volume storage compartment under the bottle cage. It includes custom Cotopaxi internal bags to keep your tools, spares, and snacks silent and organized.
Size-Specific Geometry: Ibis doesn't just scale the frame; they adjust seat tube angles and chainstay lengths for each size (S to XL) to ensure every rider has the same balanced centre of gravity.
Flip-Chip Versatility: While it ships as a full 29er, a built-in flip-chip allows for an easy conversion to a Mullet (29" F / 27.5" R) setup without compromising the bottom bracket height.
