The Open Cycles U.P.P.E.R. Frameset is the pinnacle of the gravel category, the lightest, most premium offering from Open Cycles. The Open Cycles U.P.P.E.R. is the ultra-light version of the U.P. frameset, built with a higher-modulus carbon fibre for maximum weight savings, translating the versatile geometry of the U.P. into an ultra-lightweight chassis built for competitive speed and efficiency.

The "P.P.E.R." stands for Perfect Performance Every Ride, reflecting the frameset's premium, high-modulus carbon construction that delivers significant weight savings over the standard U.P.

UDH and Component Future-Proofing - The inclusion of the UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) is the key update on this latest version. This feature ensures the U.P.P.E.R. is fully compatible with the new SRAM T-Type Transmission (e.g., SRAM Red/Force/Rival AXS Transmission), which requires a UDH interface for direct-mount operation. This makes the frameset future-proof for the latest electronic drivetrains while also simplifying hanger replacement.

Ultra-Light Performance - The U.P.P.E.R. uses a premium carbon layup that reduces frame weight to approximately 880g (size M), making it one of the lightest production gravel frames available. Despite this weight reduction, it retains the acclaimed multi-surface versatility of the U.P.:

Massive Tyre Clearance: Handles both 700c X 40mm tyres for fast rolling or 650b X 2.1in tyres for technical singletrack.

Open U-Turn Fork: The included full carbon fork remains exceptionally light and precise.
