The most notable change is the shift to the new Shimano CUES groupset.2 CUES is designed for durability and high performance across varied terrain. This model often features a simplified 1x10-speed setup:

  • Simplicity and Range: The 1x setup uses a single 42T chainring paired with a wide-range 11-48T cassette (CUES CS-LG400) This massive 436% range provides all the gears needed for steep climbs and fast flats without the need for a front derailleur.

  • Robust Design: CUES components, particularly the RD-U6000 rear derailleur, are built to withstand the rigours of off-road cycling and integrate with Shimano's LinkGlide technology for smoother, longer-lasting shifting.

  • Braking: Reliable Shimano BR-RS405 Hydraulic Disc Brakes ensure powerful and controlled stopping in all weather conditions.
