Hyperglide+ Optimisation: The CN-M6100 is explicitly engineered for HYPERGLIDE+ cassette sprockets and Dynamic Chain Engagement+(DCE+) chainrings. This proprietary design features computer-designed plate profiles that:

Speed up shifting: 1/3 faster shift times compared to older Hyperglide systems, particularly when shifting under load.

Enhance Retention: Features an extended inner plate that interacts seamlessly with DCE+ chainring teeth to significantly improve chain retention and reduce the chance of chain suck or drop, allowing for more aggressive riding.

Smoother Pedalling: The tighter engagement reduces vibration and shock during pedalling, resulting in quieter operation and a smoother power transfer.

Durability and Compatibility: The chain uses a chromising treatment on the roller link pins for enhanced wear resistance. While it does not feature the SIL-TEC coating of higher-tier chains like XT or XTR, its construction is highly robust.
