The SRAM Maven Base Hydraulic Disc Brake delivers the monumental power and heat management of the Maven platform in a robust, no-nonsense package. Designed for the demands of Enduro, Downhill (DH), and heavy-duty E-MTB use, the Maven system is SRAM’s most powerful to date, built to give you the confidence to push your limits.

The key to the Maven’s immense power is the new stiff 4-piston calliper, which houses oversized 18mm and 19.5mm pistons. This increased piston size and calliper stiffness translate into massive braking force and superior heat dissipation, ensuring consistent performance on the longest and steepest descents.

The Base model features a durable forged alloy lever blade with Tool-Free Reach Adjust, allowing you to dial in your preferred lever position quickly. The DirectLink™ lever mechanism ensures a direct, efficient translation of your finger input, delivering a predictable application of that enormous power. The modern Stealth lever architecture provides a clean, integrated look in your cockpit.

Notably, the Maven series is SRAM’s high-performance move to a Mineral Oil fluid system, offering reduced maintenance and extended service intervals. The Base is finished in a clean Blast Black anodised finish.
