The Tenways AGO Air is designed for the rider who wants mid-drive power without the traditional "bulk" of a trekking bike. It is arguably the most "normal" feeling bike in the range, offering a familiar derailleur-and-chain setup that is both lightweight and highly efficient for gear changes under load.

Efficiency Meets Adventure

By utilising a Tenways-tuned mid-drive motor (partnered with Bafang technology), the AGO Air provides a massive 80Nm of torque. Unlike the AGO T, which is restricted to urban settings, the Air’s Shimano Cues 9-speed drivetrain is built for durability and precision, allowing you to find the perfect gear for steep gravel paths or fast road descents. The 560Wh battery is one of Tenways' largest, providing a genuine 100km range that holds up even in hilly terrain.

The Tenways AGO Air is the most recent addition to the AGO family, positioned as the "Lightweight Trekking" alternative. While the AGO T focus on luxury and the AGO X on off-road power, the AGO Air is the versatile middle ground. It maintains a powerful 80Nm mid-drive motor but swaps the heavy internal gear hub of the "T" for a Shimano Cues 9-speed chain system, making it noticeably lighter and more sprightly on climbs.

The AGO Air is demonstrably more capable on hills than the AGO T. While the "T" is limited by the shifting speed of the Enviolo hub, the Air's Shimano Cues system allows for rapid shifts, making it the better choice for riders who commute through "stop-start" hilly traffic. It is the "goldilocks" bike—not as heavy as the T, but more comfortable and powerful than the CGO series.
