Industry Nine Solix G AR25 Wheelset
The Solix G AR25 is built for the rider who doesn't want to be limited by their equipment. It features a hooked alloy rim that safely handles the high pressures of road cycling while offering the width and durability needed for gravel adventures. By using the Solix G system, it provides a incredibly responsive ride that makes any surface feel "just right."
The "AR" in the name stands for All-Road. With an internal width of 21.5mm, it is the narrowest rim in the Solix G family, making it the best choice for riders who frequently swap between road and gravel tyres. The hooked bead wall is a key feature here, as it permits higher tyre pressures (up to road standards) that hookless carbon rims often cannot safely accommodate.
The Industry Nine Solix G AR25 is the versatile "All-Road" workhorse of the Solix collection. While other models in the range are hyper-specialised for either chunky gravel or pure road racing, the AR25 is designed to be a "single bike quiver killer," equally at home with 25mm slick tyres or 55mm knobbly gravel rubber.
Customsiation through Industry Nine's Anolab:
Because this is a System wheel, you have access to the full Ano Lab suite. Black hub and spokes is the base price default, adding colours incurs upgrade costs. Simply go to the Anolab here and build your preferred wheelset. Add it to theIndustry Nine cart and it will tell you what Level of customisation it is (level1,2 or 3 - see below).
Get thei i9 custom code from the basket as in the picture below. Pop this code into the comments box when ordering from us and we can make sure you get what you are after. Any problems get in touch and we can do it for you.
System Wheels have 3 levels of customisation:
Level 1 - Up to 8 spokes of a different colour
Level 2 - Any colour hub (instead of standard black) and as many matching spokes as you like (i.e any mix of black and the colour) that matches the hubshell
Level 3 - Any mix of colour hub and spokes you like all the way up to rainbow pattern!
Our Wheelbuilders opinion:
Choose the Solix G AR25 if your riding is a 50/50 split between road and gravel. Its narrower rim (21.5mm vs 24.5mm) supports narrower road tyres much better and the hooked bead gives you the safety margin for high-pressure road use. If you almost exclusively ride 40c or wider tyres on rough terrain, the Solix Gravel X (GRCX) remains the better choice for pure off-road stability.
Solix G Hub System: Near-instant 0.59-degrees engagement (605 P.O.E.) delivers immediate power transfer for climbing and sprinting.
Hooked Rim Profile: Allows for a massive range of tyre fitments, from 25mm road slicks to 55mm gravel tyres.
Direct-Thread Aluminium Spokes: Uses 24 machined straight-pull spokes that thread directly into the hub flange, eliminating traditional nipples and enhancing stiffness.
Low-Drag Coasting: Redesigned internals offer 60% less drag than previous generations, helping you hold speed better on the tarmac.
Weatherproof Aesthetics: Features high-quality aluminum construction with sublimated graphics that won't peel or fade in harsh conditions.
