To round out the high-speed "SL" collection, we have the Reserve 57|64 SL Turbulent Aero. This is the uncompromising choice for flat-out speed, specifically engineered for breakaways, criteriums, and time trials where every second counts.

Just as with the shallower SL models, this version swaps the standard DT Swiss hubs and steel spokes for the ultra-premium Tune Pico hubs and Vonoa bladed carbon spokes. This results in a deep-section aero wheelset that weighs a staggering 1,470g—a weight usually reserved for wheels half this depth.

The 57|64 SL is designed for high-velocity stability. The 57mm front rim uses a blunted profile to mitigate "steering snap" in crosswinds, while the 64mm rear rim focuses on maximising the "sail effect" and reducing drag. Despite its depth, the SL layup and carbon spoke technology make it light enough to remain competitive on rolling terrain and punchy climbs.

The Tune & Vonoa System

By using Tune Pico hubs and Vonoa carbon spokes, Reserve has created a wheel with incredible lateral stiffness. When you're out of the saddle sprinting for a finish line, there is zero perceptible flex. The Tune Pico hubs are CNC-machined in Germany to align perfectly with the spoke angles of the deep 57/64 rims, ensuring that the carbon spokes remain in a pure tension state without bending.
