Introducing the Ritchey Montebello Frameset: The "Go Anywhere" Endurance Road Bike
The Ritchey Montebello perfectly embodies the philosophy that a bike's design can offer solutions for something far greater than forward momentum. Born from Tom Ritchey's extensive mileage and desire for a more comfortable, "go anywhere" machine for longer excursions, the Montebello is your ultimate partner for epic endurance road adventures.
Built with Ritchey's proprietary triple-butted Logic steel tubing, the Montebello sets itself apart with an increased stack, longer wheelbase, and lower bottom bracket than its Road Logic sibling. These thoughtful geometrical choices deliver an incredibly welcoming and stable ride, whether you're watching the sun set or rise again on your journey. Practical features include highly requested fender and rack mounts, expanding its versatility for light bikepacking or commuting.
This unique frameset includes the all-new WCS Carbon Brevet Fork, designed explicitly for the Montebello. This high-performance fork boasts clearance for 700c x 40c tires without fenders (or 36c with fenders), and special mounting options for a porteur or lowrider rack. Further enhancing its long-distance capabilities, the fork features internal dynamo routing and threaded drilling in the crown for attaching rack lights – hallmarks of Ritchey's adventure-ready forks. And, of course, the Brevet Fork sports the precise yet forgiving ride experience of a 1-1/8" straight steerer.
The Ritchey Montebello frameset is the quintessential choice for endurance road cyclists and light bikepackers who prioritise comfort, stability, and versatility without compromising on the legendary ride feel of a Ritchey.
