Schwalbe Shredda Rear Gravity Pro Radial Tyre

The Schwalbe Shredda Rear is specifically tuned to handle the high-torque demands of modern mid-drive e-bike motors. By using a Radial carcass, the tyre deforms more selectively at the point of contact, effectively "wrapping" around obstacles. This creates a massive increase in mechanical grip, preventing the rear wheel from spinning out on wet roots or loose, loamy inclines.

Unlike the front-specific version, the Shredda Rear features a more structured 3-2-2-3 centre block pattern. These knobs are slightly shallower than the front's 10mm spikes to provide a more stable platform for pedalling and to prevent the knobs from folding under extreme torque. However, they are still significantly taller than standard enduro tyres, offering a "scooping" effect that generates phenomenal propulsion in soft and mixed terrain.
