The 2026 Scott Addict RC 20 is a thoroughbred race machine that brings professional-level technology to a broader range of competitive cyclists. It utilises Scott’s signature HMX Carbon layup, providing a significant increase in stiffness and a reduction in weight compared to standard carbon frames.

The 2026 Scott Addict RC 20 is the high-performance sweet spot of the "Race" range. It sits just above the RC 30, upgrading the groupset to the more refined Shimano Ultegra Di2 and featuring a more integrated carbon cockpit.

Unlike the endurance Addict 20 (which uses an HMF frame and 3$38 ext{mm}$ clearance), this RC version is built on the stiffer, lighter HMX Carbon frame. It is designed specifically for competitive road racing and climbing.

Precision and Speed

  • Shimano Ultegra Di2 Drivetrain: The R8150 2x12-speed groupset is the gold standard for racing. It offers faster shifting than 105 and improved ergonomics. It is paired with a race-ready 52/36T chainset for high-speed descents and flat-out sprints.

  • Syncros Capital 1.0 40mm Carbon Wheels: These deep-section carbon wheels offer aerodynamic performance while remaining stable in crosswinds.14 They are exceptionally light, helping the bike excel on steep gradients.

  • Fully Integrated Cockpit: The Syncros HB-R100-CF carbon handlebar provides a stiff platform for out-of-the-saddle efforts and hides all brake hoses internally for a clean, aero profile.

Race Geometry

The "RC" stands for Racing Concept. This means a shorter head tube and longer reach compared to the standard Addict, putting the rider in a more aggressive, aerodynamic position. The frame also features an Eccentric Carbon Steerer, allowing for seamless cable integration without compromising the bike's front-end stiffness.
