Industry Nine Solix XC Carbon System Wheelset
The Solix XC Carbon is Industry Nine's lightest mountain bike wheelset to date. By combining the low-drag Solix M hub platform with a premium, hookless carbon rim handmade in Canada, I9 has achieved a sub-1400g set weight without compromising on the lateral stiffness required for modern, technical XC courses.
Premium Carbon Collection
The UL300 rim is part of Industry Nine's Premium Carbon Collection. Unlike mass-produced rims, these are specifically tuned for a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The 30mm internal width is wider than traditional XC rims, allowing you to run lower pressures in high-volume tyres (2.3"--2.5") for better traction and less rolling resistance over chatter.
The Industry Nine Solix XC Carbon is the premier carbon cross-country racing wheelset in the lineup. It represents the "no-expense-spared" option for riders whose main objective is standing on the top step of the podium.
Customsiation through Industry Nine's Anolab:
Because this is a System wheel, you have access to the full Ano Lab suite. Black hub and spokes is the base price default, adding colours incurs upgrade costs. Simply go to the Anolab here and build your preferred wheelset. Add it to theIndustry Nine cart and it will tell you what Level of customisation it is (level1,2 or 3 - see below).

System Wheels have 3 levels of customisation:
Level 1 - Up to 8 spokes of a different colour
Level 2 - Any colour hub (instead of standard black) and as many matching spokes as you like (i.e any mix of black and the colour) that matches the hubshell
Level 3 - Any mix of colour hub and spokes you like all the way up to rainbow pattern!
Our Wheelbuilders opinion:
The Solix M UL300 is the pure racing specialist. It features a wider 30mm rim compared to the Whisp’s 29mm, and it is tuned for maximum stiffness and acceleration. If you want a wheel that feels "electric" when you put the power down and you're mostly riding on manicured race tracks, the XC Carbon is the choice. If you want a bit more "damping" and comfort for long-distance training or rocky backcountry loops, the Solix Whisp might be the better all-rounder
