The EXT Aria is the world’s most advanced air shock, developed by the Italian specialists to offer a genuine, high-performance alternative to their legendary coil shocks. While most air shocks rely on plastic volume spacers to tune the spring curve, the Aria uses a patented dual positive air chamber system to provide independent control over every stage of the travel.
The Aria (Italian for "Air") is a ground-up redesign that brings EXT’s Formula 1 suspension heritage to the trail. Its core innovation is AS3 Technology, which utilises two separate positive air valves (+ and ++). This allows you to set your sag and initial sensitivity with the primary chamber while independently tuning the mid-stroke support and end-stroke ramp with the secondary chamber—no volume spacers required.
It is the perfect choice for riders who want the weight savings and tunability of air without sacrificing the "bottomless" mid-stroke support of a coil.
The Aria’s internal damping architecture is derived from the E-Storia, meaning it is built to handle the highest loads. It features a massive 28mm main piston and an adjustable Hydraulic Bottom-out Circuit (HBC), giving you total control over the final 15% of the stroke to prevent harsh clouts on big landings.
AS3 Dual-Chamber System: Control the spring curve's progression via air pressure rather than disassembling the shock for plastic spacers.
Adjustable HBC: Position-sensitive damping that ramps up only at the end of the stroke, allowing for lower air pressures and better traction.
Super Finish Coating: Proprietary surface treatments and aerospace-grade seals reduce friction to the lowest levels in the industry.
LOK 2.0: A refined "climb switch" that provides a stable pedalling platform but includes a blow-off valve for unexpected hits.
