EXT Storia V4 - Ultimate Enduro Coil

The Storia V4 is widely regarded as the most sophisticated coil shock for trail and enduro use. It’s not just "off-the-shelf"; every Storia is custom-tuned by factory technicians for your specific bike's leverage ratio and your rider weight. The V4 introduces PSR (Position Sensitive Rebound), which uses a hydraulic one-way valve in the final $2 ext{mm}$ of extension to eliminate the harsh "clack" often found on other coil shocks, providing a whisper-quiet ride.

The "Lightest" Legend

EXT has focused heavily on weight reduction without sacrificing thermal stability. By using 7075 T6 aluminium and a 30% lighter steel spring, the Storia V4 remains one of the lightest coil shocks on the market, making it the perfect partner for high-pivot bikes where weight management is key.

The EXT Storia V4 is the flagship of the Italian boutique suspension house. While the E-Storia is built for the weight of e-bikes, the Storia V4 is the ultimate weight-optimised enduro coil. It’s designed for riders who demand the performance of a coil but want to maintain a lighter, more agile feel for their analogue (or lightweight e-MTB) builds.

For the V4, EXT has moved away from the 12mm wrench adjusters of the V3, meaning you can now tune your entire shock using the 4mm and 5mm Allen keys on your standard multi-tool.

Free mounting hardware is supplied with every shock, when we contact you about your rider's weight riding style etc we will find out the frame details.
